Huella Beauty is a vegan, cruelty-free, 15-free nail polish brand that's also made in the USA.

They recently switched over to the 15-free formulation so any older bottles you have may state 10-free.

Their polishes come in the cutest square bottles and have removable crystal caps that really make them sparkle in a vanity display.

Besides their commitment to being good-for-you polish, what I like about the Huella Beauty nail colors is their wear time.

I can usually squeak a few more days out of my Huella Beauty colors when comparing them to some mainstream brands.

Recently, I wore a Huella Beauty nail color during Christmas week - I cooked an entire Christmas Dinner, plus did all the hosting and cleaning, without a single chip for a week.

It was then that I realized this formula was special.

The Huella Beauty line has a performance and longevity factor to it - they are indeed as chip-resistant as the maker claims. These polishes also typically dry quite quickly.

If you’re looking for a nail polish brand that goes a little above and beyond, Huella Beauty is worthy of your consideration.

Below you’ll see 2 swatches from Huella Beauty, Fig-Get Me Not and Black Book.

Both swatches are shown with essie gel setter top coat, which is a super shiny, plumping top coat that also provides a long-lasting finish.

It’s currently my favorite top coat as it perfectly compliments any nail color you put it on.

Huella Beauty Fig-Get Me Not

Shown in 2 coats, Fig-Get Me Not is a cherry mocha red. It’s a hybrid of red, brown and black.

Fig-Get Me Not is so dark that in some lighting situations and at some angles it appears to be black.

If you’re a fan of shades like OPI Complimentary Wine and Revlon Vixen, Fig-Get Me Not is in that same dark, vampy vein. It’s the perfect color for a romantic date night.

Huella Beauty Black Book

If you’d like to go a bit darker, shown in 2 coats, Black Book is a warm black creme.

What I like most about Black Book is that it has brown undertones, which you’ll see when you apply the first coat. Most blacks have cooler toned bases, which can sometimes have a cold look.

While Black Book is still a solid black, the brownish undertones give it a subtle softness that makes it easy to wear.

So of these 2 darker Huella Beauty shades, which one do you prefer? Are you an almost-black type of person or are you more of a black creme purist?

Either way, both of these colors are lovely! I am particularly fond of the fact these shades are such deep tones and you only need 2 coats for opacity, in a world where many darker shades require 3 coats for full coverage.
