It wears well with any outfit and is a very bright shade on the nail. If white could be neon, this white would fall into that category.
In the range of white nail polish available, it leans cool on the tone and reminds one of a crisp stick of chalk or a fresh sheet of printer paper.
If you are looking for nail polish that feels and looks like a clean slate, this is it. And if you don’t have a white nail polish yet, they are staples to have as they are so handy.
You can use them for French Manicures and nail art designs, in addition to a solid single color manicure.
Alpine Snow was one of OPI’s Top 5 shades in 2021, so it’s worth your gaze or two - let's take a look at a few swatches:
Alpine Snow is often compared to two other white nail polishes - OPI Funny Bunny and essie blanc, so in case those are in your orbit, here’s how it compares to these:
The main difference between these two is that Alpine Snow is designed to be opaque and Funny Bunny is designed to be sheer.
Funny Bunny remains sheer at 3 coats, where Alpine Snow does not.
If you are looking for a softer manicure, go with Funny Bunny. If a bright, more vibrant look is what you are after, it’s Alpine Snow.
Now for another common comparison…
These are both cool, bright opaque whites, where the main differences between them seems to be the brand and the amount of formula in the bottle - OPI bottles have 0.04oz more.
Alpine Snow also appears to be slightly softer in tone than blanc, however they are extremely similar… they could be sisters. They are both opaque at two coats.
