Sage green is a relaxing, calming color. Sage is in the blue-green range of colors, yet in nail polish, sage colors aren’t usually oceanic in tone or feel.

They often have an earthy feel or look to them.

Perhaps it’s because some sage green nail colors are on the warmer side, perhaps it is just due to the name of the color.

The sage green nail polishes you will see in this post all have plant-themed names, though only one has the word “sage” in the name.

Each of the colors offer full cream finish coverage in 2 coats.

Below are swatches of 3 sage green nail polishes:

Sinful Colors Eucalyptahhh 2735

Eucalyptahhh is a light, cool-toned sage green nail polish from the Essenchills Collection of scented colors. In the Essenchills line, each color is meant to smell like what it's named after.

This collection is one of my favorites from Sinful - it was released in 2021 during the height of the pandemic so it was perfect timing for a relaxation themed release.

Eucalyptahhh does have a cool, almost minty scent as it dries, very similar to the scent of a cooling muscle gel. However, this scent is gone once you seal the color with a top coat.

Eucalyptahhh offers an interesting, engaging application experience and a pretty color.

Thyme is Money is a light warm-toned sage green cream finish nail polish. Shown without a top coat. I love the name of this one.

Orly Sagebrush 200057

Sagebrush is a dark, creamy sage green nail polish. This was one of Orly’s hottest shades for quite some time - they had it on all their marketing for affiliates to use.

While there are new favorites from the brand now, I still love it.

So, which one of these sage green nail colors do you like the most? Do you prefer a light sage or a dark sage? Would you wear cool green nail colors like these?
