Dazzle Dry was introduced in 2007 as the world’s first longwear nail polish with 7 to 14 day wear. It also is a non-toxic, quick dry polish, promising to dry completely in 5 minutes.

The longwear plus quick drying combo is what makes this line so fantastic, but there are still a few more benefits of this brand.

Dazzle Dry is also:

Like the other longwear polish lines we’ve featured, it requires you to invest in the system to work.

In this case, the Dazzle Dry System is 4 steps: a nail prep treatment, base coat, top coat, a Dazzle Dry color and nail polish restoration drops as an occasional 5th step.

I love that this longwear system includes restoration drops, called Revive, because it assures your formulas stay effective indefinitely, by allowing you to add back the evaporative solvents that all nail polishes naturally lose over time.

Not all brands offer nail polish restoration drops as part of their line up, but I’m always grateful for the ones that do since it helps your collection last so much longer.

And in fact, Dazzle Dry’s products do not expire when well maintained.

Frozen Lemonade is a gorgeous pastel yellow cream; it’s fully opaque in 2 coats, and true to the claims, it does dry quickly.

In under 10 minutes of me finishing this manicure, I was out the door, in the car and running errands - not a single smudge appeared!

1 - Clean your nail plate using lint-free wipes and the Dazzle Dry Nail Prep Solution

2 - Apply 2 layers of the Dazzle Dry Base Coat, waiting for the first coat to dry before applying the second coat.

If the base coat is cloudy, place it in a dish with 1” inch of warm water until it becomes clear. I used the still-warm water in the teapot from my last cup of tea and a small square pyrex glass cooking dish.

3 - Apply 2 layers of your Dazzle Dry Nail Color, waiting for the first coat to dry before applying the second coat.

4 - Apply 1 layer of your Dazzle Dry Top Coat and wait 5 minutes before moving around.

If your Color or Top Coat is thick, add 6-8 drops of Revive to full-size bottles and 3-5 drops for mini bottles (more, if necessary).

A few common questions about Dazzle Dry:

Is Dazzle Dry actually non toxic?

Yes - Dazzle Dry takes their ingredient sourcing seriously.

They cross reference their formulas’ ingredients against MSDS (material safety data sheets) and California Proposition 65’s list, which prohibits the use of over 900 different chemicals.

Their formulas are free from questionable ingredients like: toluene, formaldehyde, TPHP, nitrocellulose, camphor, formaldehyde resin, ethyl tosylamide, phthalates, xylene and MEK.

Can you remove Dazzle Dry with regular nail polish remover?

Yes, it’s easily removable with both acetone and non-acetone removers.

I used 100% pure acetone to remove this manicure and it came off easily; like cream finish nail polishes normally do.

All in all, Frozen Lemonade is a gorgeous, impressive pastel yellow.

Even if it wasn’t longwearing and quick drying, it's stunning given how few coats you need for full opacity.

Typically, pastel yellows require 3-4 coats, which is time and money consuming. These polishes take longer to dry and use up your formula faster.

As a result, I’m always on the lookout for a unicorn “2 coats or less” yellow polish and Frozen Lemonade is one of them.

Finally, Dazzle Dry also offers a subscription program which simply adds to the experience.
