DIY Pink Lemonade Nails: Easy Design and Polishes to Buy

Pink and yellow nails are sometimes called pink lemonade nails or strawberry lemonade nails because they remind you of the pink and yellow fruits that go into making that drink - lemons and strawberries!
This manicure is one of my favorite summer nail looks and it brings me so much joy every time I wear it, so today you’ll be learning how to get this Pink Lemonade Nail look easily.
In this post, you will find photos of pink and yellow nail colors layered on the nail in a Chevron French Manicure, which means just the tips get opaque coverage, painted on in diagonal lines on each side of the nail. The base of the nail is a sheer neutral nail polish.
To achieve Pink Lemonade Nails, you will need these products or something similar:
- OPI Natural Nail Base Coat or your favorite base coat
- OPI Bare My Soul NLSH4, as a sheer base, but use any sheer base you like
- essie gel couture haute to trot 150, as the pink, you can also choose your favorite bright strawberry inspired pink polish
- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Daisy Dukes 353, as the yellow, but any bright, sunny yellow nail polish will work
- OPI RapiDry Top Coat or any glossy top coat you like
- Nail Brush and Acetone for light clean up

How To Get This Pink Lemonade Nails Look
- Apply one coat of OPI Natural Nail Base Coat to clean and manicure prepped nails. Wait one minute to dry.
- Apply two coats of Bare My Soul, allow at least one minute to dry between coats.
- Apply two coats of haute to trot on the right diagonal of each nail. Use a wet nail brush dipped in water to clean up any mistakes. Allow at least one minute to dry between coats.
- Apply two coats of Daisy Dukes on the left diagonal of each nail. Use a wet nail brush dipped in water to clean up any mistakes. Allow at least one minute to dry between coats.
- Apply one coat of your favorite glossy top coat.
- If any pink or yellow paint got on the skin surrounding the nail: dip your nail brush in acetone and lightly clean up your edges.
