OPI Cajun Shrimp is a best selling OPI color and it’s the best loved coral nail polish color by our readers at the moment.

The most popular blog we have featuring this creamy reddish coral is: OPI Big Apple Red VS Cajun Shrimp.

Coral nail colors are one of the prettiest summer nail polish options out there.

Their warmth, with hues between orange, pink and red, give a very flattering look to any warm season manicure or pedicure.

Wearing coral nail polish is like adding summer’s glow to your hands.

If you’re looking for a little bit of coral nail inspiration, below you’ll see swatches of two coral nail polish colors from OPI that are similar to OPI’s best selling coral, Cajun Shrimp.

OPI I Eat Mainely Lobster, from the 2011 Touring America Collection, and Aloha from OPI (now discontinued) from the 2015 Hawaii Collection, are both in the coral nail polish family and commonly compared to everyone’s favorite - Cajun Shrimp.

Below you will see swatches of OPI I Eat Mainely Lobster and OPI Aloha from OPI, along with how they differ from this best loved coral.

OPI I Eat Mainely Lobster

Shown in 2 coats and without a top coat, I Eat Mainely Lobster is a light, orange-leaning coral with both pink and red undertones and a gold pearl finish.

The gold pearl in this formula gives the polish such a gorgeous subtle shimmer.

They’re both in the coral range of colors; where they differ is that OPI I Eat Mainely Lobster is a lighter, orange based coral with a shimmer finish and OPI Cajun Shrimp is a darker and red based coral with a cream finish.

OPI Aloha from OPI

Shown in 3 coats, Aloha from OPI is an orange-based coral with a cream finish.

This shade really pops off the nail - it is definitely a summer coral.

These shades are both in the coral cream family, but Aloha from OPI is an orange coral and Cajun Shrimp is a pinkish red coral.

Aloha from OPI is more of an orange shade. If you’re looking for a more red shade, go with Cajun Shrimp.

Finally, one more comparison of these OPI coral nail colors just for fun.

These are both orange corals, however I Eat Mainely Lobster has a shimmer finish and pink undertones, where Aloha from OPI is a cream finish and it is more dominantly orange.

All in all, both I Eat Mainely Lobster and Aloha from OPI are lovely corals that are perfect for your summer nails.

The only caveat you should consider: Aloha from OPI is discontinued, so it may be difficult to find and the bottles that you do find, will not be fresh off the manufacturing line.

If it were me, I would choose a color currently in production so that if you fall in love, you can keep it in your rotation.

They are also both so distinctly different from OPI Cajun Shrimp and each other, that it would warrant adding them to your collection, especially if you already have any of these colors.
