Below, explore the similarities and differences between two of OPI’s best selling sheer nail polish colors, Funny Bunny and Put it in Neutral.

Funny Bunny and Put it in Neutral are both reader favorites. They’re also two of my personal favorite shades. I love sheer, creamy white and pink nail colors like this - they’re so feminine and demure.

They are equally pretty on the nail and they are both:

  • Made by OPI

  • Made in the USA

  • The same volume of formula

  • Intentionally sheer nail polishes

The color of each varies from the other, though, and the type of formula you have available for each color, also varies, as discussed below.

To get an idea of the color variation between these two polishes, let’s start by looking at three OPI Funny Bunny swatches, followed by three OPI Put it in Neutral swatches.

Overall, OPI’s Funny Bunny # NLH22 is a soft, sheer white.

It provides even coverage in two coats and will build coverage with more coats. It’s available in a standard wear lacquer formula (shown above), as well as available in a long wear lacquer formula, called Infinite Shine.

Put it in Neutral #NLT65 is a soft, sheer mauve pink.

It also provides even coverage in two coats, and will build coverage with more coats.

Both of these colors look pretty on the nail and their finish is equally sheer. 

Which one you choose may really depend on what color you’re gravitating to and if you want the option to upgrade to a longer lasting finish.

If you’re looking for a sheer soft white, or want the option to get it in a longwear manicure formula, get OPI Funny Bunny.

If you’re looking for a sheer mauve pink, and a standard wear formula will meet your needs, get OPI Put it in Neutral.

For best results, pair them both with an OPI base and top coat.
