You know what I love about M&M’s? They are really into being festive.
You can order M&M’s in your favorite color, for a football game, for a wedding, a graduation and every combination in between.
They are certainly a candy that is invested in having fun and celebrating life’s happiest moments.
At Lots of Lacquer, we believe that a manicure can make any occasion more fun, because a fresh set of nails brings a boost of joy to everyday life.
In fact, there is a section on the blog specifically about party nails - you can find it on the Find By Shade page, under “Occasion.”
No matter what event you’re going to, there is a manicure to help you celebrate it, and when it comes to party nails, there is no collection that is released throughout the year that is filled with more whimsy and sparkle, than holiday.
For this reason, holiday nail collections are becoming my favorite, and my most awaited releases to feature.
For this holiday season, OPI teamed up with M&M’s to deliver a cute, fun and festive holiday collection, all celebrating the candy that loves to party with you.
More and more lately, I am asked to feature “regular nail polish” that lasts.
OPI Infinite Shine is that - it is designed to deliver up to 11 days of wear. It’s said to be gel-like, but without the costs of the lamp, the soak-off process, or the potential for nail damage.
Infinite Shine has upgraded its formula to be higher performance in the past few years and after testing close to 30 different bottles from the new version, I can confirm that it has improved.
It wraps the nail so nicely when it fully sets, it is more pigmented so you generally need fewer coats, dries to a rock hard finish more quickly, is more plumping and it lasts a longer than before.
Let’s start with the swatches, shall we?
OPI x M&M’s Holiday 2026 Sweeten Your Mani Collection Swatches
OPI Infinite Shine Go–Oey Get ‘Em
Is this shade supposed to remind you of peanut butter? If so, it absolutely does! And I’m okay with it, because peanut butter in candy is my favorite kind.
It’s a neutral creamy nail color with a marshmallow undertone, and it is a super cozy shade that’s perfect for work friendly nails.
OPI Infinite Shine Merry & Melty
Shown in 2 coats, this is a cheerful, blush pink creme with a candy coated look and feel. I love how pigmented it is for a lighter pink!
OPI Infinite Shine Jingle Bell Crunch
Shown in 2 coats, this is a bold shimmery orange with gold flecks that would make a wonderful Thanksgiving nail shade.
OPI Infinite Shine Candied Cutie
Shown in 2 coats, this is a cool taupe neutral with micro shimmer and holographic sparkle. You could call this a holographic champagne nail polish. It's my favorite from the collection.
This is for you if you like nude nails all year, but want to make it festive. It has a fairy-like look to it. I’ve worn it twice now and it is the first shade I wore from the collection.
OPI Infinite Shine Shiny & Bright
Shown in 2 coats, this is a warm, golden pearl shimmer. If you’re looking for gold nail polish, the holiday season is the perfect time to buy one because most collections release new gold polish.
But this one is special. It is more of a classic yellow gold, and it is one of the prettier ones I’ve seen. It basically looks like someone applied gold leaf to your nail. It’s decadent and the fact that it is the same price as a creme polish is incredible.
Because it is pearl, I like to cap the nail tips before coating the whole nail to avoid showing horizontal brush marks on the ends.
OPI Infinite Shine Mmmore to Enjoy
You could call this a milky white nail color with a subtle soft pink iridescent shimmer.
It’s frosty, cool and wintery. It’s a blush white pearl shimmer with a pink to green shift and it is shown in 2 coats. It dries down nicely to a candy coated shell look and hugs the nail so nicely.
Another one I’ve worn twice so far.
OPI Infinite Shine I Caramel for You
Shown in 2 coats, this milk chocolate brown shimmer with warm, red to bronze micro sparkles. It is a shimmery shade, but yet, it reminds me of nutmeg and cinnamon spices. It gives me a grounded and safe vibe when I gaze at it. Super cozy.
In terms of application experience, this one glided on so easily.
OPI Infinite Shine Under the Tree-t
Shown in 2 coats, this is a forest toned green shimmer. It has a cheerful, playful feel, and is very reminiscent of the green in an Elf costume. It would also be a useful one for kelly green sports themed nail designs or mistletoe and holly nail art accents.
OPI Infinite Shine Shell-Abration
Shown in 2 coats, this highly pigmented wonder is opaque in 1 coat but I wanted to see how the formula smoothed out and plumped up in the second coat. It’s such a gorgeous, rich deep pink and it reminds of Valentine’s Day nails, so I think it would be a good one for that, too. I really like this one! It is simple yet so beautiful.
OPI Infinite Shine Fa La La La Yum
Looking for an easy New Year’s nail look? This is it!
It’s a frosty cobalt blue shimmer perfect for sparkly January nails. I love deep cobalt blue nails like this because they almost look sapphire. This is shown in 2 coats, but if you wanted to wear it in 3 for even more color depth, you could, as it deepens with each coat.
OPI Infinite Shine Bite Sized Behavior
Another one that’s opaque in 1 coat, this is a bold red pearl with pink micro shimmer, which gives it a candied apple look. It is shown in 2 coats, as I wanted to see how a second coat looked.
This is another one that would be a great option for a Valentine’s Day Manicure. It looks like it has a chrome top coat; the sheen is absolutely gorgeous.
OPI Infinite Shine On The Sweet List
Shown in 2 coats, this is dark red creme polish with pink undertones. In shaded lighting it is deeper burgundy red, in full sunlight, it is much brighter.
I love colors like this year round, so I’m wearing it as I write this post.
Which one of these shades is your favorite?
If you need more of a professional, corporate neutral manicure, Candied Cute, Go-Oey Get ‘Em and I Caramel For You would all work well.
If you’re more of a “I only wear pink” person, which is understandable, Mmmore to Enjoy, Merry & Melty, or Shell-Abration is what I’d suggest.
Finally, if you only do red nail polishes this time of year, like many of my readers, then Bite Sized Behavior and On the Sweet List would be my picks for you.
All in all, there is something to choose for everyone in this collection and best of all, it’s in the Infinite Shine Formula, so it will last on your nails.
